Online Courses 2025–2026


Sep­tem­ber begins with an intrigu­ing realign­ment of forces and a press­ing need to address the imbal­ances we face. Inspired by these neces­si­ties and by the ener­gies of autumn, we can­not help but feel that the tim­ing is per­fect for the top­ic ahead. After some time in prepa­ra­tion, we now ded­i­cate this new cycle of Patre­on cours­es (Sep­tem­ber 2025 to August 2026) to under­stand­ing and analysing the ori­gins of many mag­i­cal and sor­cer­ous prac­tices root­ed in folk tradition.

Mag­ic and sor­cery (and espe­cial­ly their folk expres­sions) have tra­di­tion­al­ly served to restore a bal­ance per­ceived as lost. Mag­ic dis­pens­es jus­tice for the dis­pos­sessed, it reestab­lish­es the sta­tus quo, or, at times, it can cre­ate an entire­ly new order. Whether aris­ing from with­in or drawn from out­side influ­ences, mag­ic and sor­cery have long been help­ing when try­ing to achieve human aims, estab­lish­ing rela­tion­ships with spir­its, shap­ing new nar­ra­tives, and trans­form­ing por­tray­als of the self. We shall embark on this trans­for­ma­tive jour­ney togeth­er, and we hope it will inspire you to take action when­ev­er the need aris­es. As usu­al, plant lore, prac­tices, and rit­u­als will be present in courses.

We invite you to join us in this new year of cours­es, where prac­tice will be as cen­tral as reflection.

Cours­es will take place at the last week­end of the month, and record­ings and mate­ri­als will be pro­vid­ed as usual.

How to enroll

In order to enroll on any of our cours­es, you will have to join our Occvl­ta Patre­on METZINER tier in the cor­re­spond­ing month or months (we rec­om­mend you stay for the whole sea­son in order not to miss a thing).

 

Price, dates, record­ings, and oth­er info

Price: each month on Met­zin­er tier is 30 euros + tax­es.

Length of each course: 2 hours.

Cours­es will take place on the last Sun­day of every month (unless specified).

Every course will deal with his­to­ry, folk­lore, herbal­ism, and mag­ic from an ani­mist’s perspective.

Mate­ri­als and record­ings will be pro­vid­ed for each course.
