September begins with an intriguing realignment of forces and a pressing need to address the imbalances we face. Inspired by these necessities and by the energies of autumn, we cannot help but feel that the timing is perfect for the topic ahead. After some time in preparation, we now dedicate this new cycle of Patreon courses (September 2025 to August 2026) to understanding and analysing the origins of many magical and sorcerous practices rooted in folk tradition.
Magic and sorcery (and especially their folk expressions) have traditionally served to restore a balance perceived as lost. Magic dispenses justice for the dispossessed, it reestablishes the status quo, or, at times, it can create an entirely new order. Whether arising from within or drawn from outside influences, magic and sorcery have long been helping when trying to achieve human aims, establishing relationships with spirits, shaping new narratives, and transforming portrayals of the self. We shall embark on this transformative journey together, and we hope it will inspire you to take action whenever the need arises. As usual, plant lore, practices, and rituals will be present in courses.
We invite you to join us in this new year of courses, where practice will be as central as reflection.

How to enroll
In order to enroll on any of our courses, you will have to join our Occvlta Patreon METZINER tier in the corresponding month or months (we recommend you stay for the whole season in order not to miss a thing).
Price, dates, recordings, and other info
Price: each month on Metziner tier is 30 euros + taxes.
Length of each course: 2 hours.
Courses will take place on the last Sunday of every month (unless specified).
Every course will deal with history, folklore, herbalism, and magic from an animist’s perspective.
Materials and recordings will be provided for each course.
